What is online therapy and how are sessions conducted?

Online therapy or telemental health is the practice of delivering therapuetic services through technology. Virtual sessions are offerred via a secure video platform that is HIPAA-compliant (you may have heard this term about patient confidentiality in your doctors office). When you become a client you will have your own client portal and will be sent automatic appointment reminders, both of which you can use to log into your online session.

Will therapy work for me?

Therapy is not a one-size fits all process which is why the approach to each counseling session is ultimately determined by the clients needs. However, therapy is most effective when clients apply skills from inside of session to their time outside of session. Therapy works when work is put into it.

What state/country do you accept clients from?

For counseling in the United States, clients are accepted from Florida, Illinois, and South Carolina.

For counseling outside of the United States, clients are accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on the rules and regulations of telehealth in the country they reside in or are visiting.

For support groups, HSP coaching, or ENM coaching, clients are able accepted from all states and countries.

What are your fees? Do you accept insurance?

Individual counseling sessions are $160-$200. Couples/partner sessions are $250. Payment is accepted via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and HSA/FSA. Reduced fee based on need.

Blue Cross Blue Shield plans are accepted for residents of Illinois.

If you wish to use out-of-network benefits, a superbill can be provided for you to seek possible reimbursement from your insurance company that is not in-network.
